Now is the time to get in on the action and see for yourself what everyone is talking about.
October 12-14 2018
Aspiring or experienced filmmakers are given 48.5 hours to write, shoot, and edit a 5 minute film. Immediately prior to filming each team is given a genre for their film, a line of dialogue that needs to be used, a prop that needs to appear, and a character. All rules are encouraged to be bent but not broken. A month later all the submissions are screened at the Queen of the Square Cinema, Stratford, Ontario housed in Stratford's historic City Hall, and prizes are handed out, including the "Golden Owlette," statue.
